Privacy notice
Clear choice.
Minimum useful data.
This notice explains how the public Real-World Signal Capture website handles enquiries and optional analytics. It does not describe future customer campaigns, which require their own notices, roles and consent settings.
Who operates this site
Real-World Signal Capture is a product of Dark Ice Interactive Pty Ltd. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to hello@darkice.au.
Contact enquiries
If you submit the contact form, we collect the details you provide so we can respond. This can include your name, work email, business, phone, location, website and message. We keep your optional marketing choice separately. The form is designed not to send its contents to analytics services.
Optional analytics
Google Analytics and PostHog are configured to load only after you choose “Allow analytics.” We use controlled events to understand broad website activity such as page views, navigation choices, industry interest, campaign-builder use and successful enquiries.
We configure PostHog without automatic capture, session recording or person profiles. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, phone numbers, form messages, exact customer coordinates or complete individual customer trails to either analytics service.
Your analytics choice
Your choice is stored in your browser under rwsc-privacy-v1. You can reopen “Analytics choices” from the website footer. Choosing necessary-only prevents analytics from loading on a fresh visit. Clearing site storage also clears the saved preference.
Necessary storage
The website may use local browser storage for interface preferences and your analytics choice. These functions do not require marketing consent.
Service providers and overseas processing
Our website and contact function use Cloudflare. Cloudflare also provides aggregate website-performance measurement without cookies; Cloudflare states that its Web Analytics service does not collect or use visitors' personal data. Enquiry email delivery uses Brevo. If you allow analytics, controlled event data can be processed by Google Analytics and PostHog. These providers may process data outside Australia. Their handling is governed by their own terms and the configuration available to us.
Retention, access and correction
We retain enquiry information only for legitimate business, security and legal purposes. You may ask for access, correction or deletion where applicable by contacting us. Analytics systems use their configured retention controls; we review those settings separately from campaign data.
Real-world campaigns
A future campaign may involve different businesses, offers, locations or promotion rules. Before collecting personal information, that campaign should identify the responsible organisations, purposes, recipients, choices and retention period. Competition entry, customer enquiry and ongoing marketing consent should remain separate.
